How heavy is the bike when shipped?
The bike's shipping weight is 112.2 lbs (51 kg), which might be too heavy for one person to manage safely. To avoid injury, please ask for help when first moving and setting up the bike. Once the bike is set up, one person can easily move it using the transport wheels.
How long does it take to set up? Do I need any special tools?
Setup is easy and should take you less than 30 minutes. It needs the use of a screwdriver, hex key, and wrench, all of which are included.
What type of flooring can I use it on?
For the best experience, we recommend installing the bike on a flat, hard surface such as tile or laminate flooring. The bike's feet are rubber and shouldn't damage your floors. No matter the surface, the bike will be very quiet and shouldn't bother your neighbors.
Do I need to plug the bike in?
You can ride the bike without it plugged in, but you won't be able to adjust the resistance or connect to the bike with your phone. We suggest keeping the bike always plugged in. The screen will automatically turn on and off when you start and stop riding.
Are there any height/weight restrictions?
The bike's handlebars and seat can both be adjusted up/down as well as forwards/backwards to comfortably fit anyone up to 6'5 (195cm) and up to 330 pounds (150kg)
Is the bike safe?
Yes, we have several intelligent safety features. The gears, belt, and flywheel are fully enclosed, to stop anything from getting caught or pulled into the bike's inner workings. The seat, pedals, and handlebars are all ergonomically designed to ensure the most comfortable riding position. There is an emergency stop button within easy reach.
Are the classes suitable for everyone?
All our classes and training plans are designed and led by experienced, certified fitness instructors who put your health and safety first. Star ratings indicate the difficulty of each class, so please choose a class suitable to your fitness level.
Please contact your doctor before beginning a new fitness program if you have a history of heart or lung conditions, sports-related injuries, or anything else that might affect your ability to ride safely.
Can children use the bike?
The bike can be used safely by anyone over the age of 6, though we recommend that children first learn how to use the bike safely with adult supervision.
Is there a water bottle holder?
No, the bike does not have a built-in water bottle holder, though we sell an optional bottle holder bag that you could also use to store other fitness products like jump ropes or stretching bands.
What kind of pedals does the bike come with?
The bike has flat metal pedals with a toe cage and adjustable toe straps, so it should be able to fit any size of feet or shoes securely.
Can I use my own cycling pedals?
Yes, if you have a pair of SPD or SPD-SL clipless pedals and shoes, you can opt to use them instead of the included flat pedals.
Can I adjust the resistance while riding?
Yes. There are two ways to adjust the resistance. The simplest way is to rotate the resistance control knob on the handlebars. You can also choose to increase the resistance through the app on your phone, tablet, or smartwatch.
How do I connect to the App?
Please download the mobifitness app from your App Store and make an account using your email. Then, turn on your phone's Bluetooth and select your bike when prompted.
How can I start a training plan or take a class?
From the home screen, select "Plan" in the bottom row to start your own customized training plan, or "Class" to choose a suitable class.
How can I start or join a real-time competition?
From the home screen, select "Competition" in the top row. Click the "+" button to create a competition, and then "Invite" to invite your friends to join you.
